Job summary

FCP Euro Inc. in Milford, CT is seeking a Digital Catalog Operations Associate to ensure catalog quality and accurate parts data, bridging vendor data with front-end experiences for European car parts.

You will own metadata, taxonomy, and workflows, collaborating across Make/Model, Vendor, and Supply Chain to improve searchability and user experience while upholding ACES/PIES standards.

Qualifications

• Product & Data Background: 2+ years of experience handling high-SKU digital catalogs, data management, or catalog operations.
• Automotive Knowledge: Familiarity with automotive mechanical systems and ACES/PIES.
• Technical Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and workflow tools like JIRA, Zendesk, or Monday.com.
• Analytical Mindset: Ability to manipulate, audit, and extract insights from large data sets.
• Ownership & Collaboration: Track record of end-to-end ownership and accurate work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Own Data Excellence: Maintain, enrich, and validate product metadata and taxonomy so customers can find the exact part they need.
• Optimize the Catalog Lifecycle: Manage catalog maintenance routines, including SKU creation, vendor updates, supersessions, discontinued items, and lead-time tracking.
• Drive Operational Problem-Solving: Partner with Make/Model, Vendor, and Supply Chain teams to resolve inbound tickets via JIRA, Zendesk, and Monday.com and troubleshoot data anomalies.
• Elevate Customer Experience: Enhance product searchability and image acquisition workflows to improve usability across the platform.
• Continuously Improve Workflows: Use data and KPIs to spot patterns, remove bottlenecks, and raise data quality standards.

As a Digital Catalog Operations Associate, you will be on the front line of maintaining our catalog's quality. Rather than just processing tasks, you will directly influence how customers find, evaluate, and purchase parts for their vehicles. You will bridge raw vendor data and a seamless front-end user experience, ensuring every attribute, taxonomy, and description adheres to rigorous industry standards like ACES and PIES.

Responsibilities & Duties

As a member of our Product and Catalog team, you will act as a vital bridge between complex backend data and the real-world driving experience of our customers. You won't just keep up with daily task queues; you will actively shape how our catalog grows by untangling data inconsistencies, optimizing how automotive parts are classified, and collaborating across teams to ensure our platform remains the most reliable source for European auto parts.

• Own Data Excellence: Maintain, enrich, and validate product metadata, attributes, and taxonomy so our customers can find the exact part they need, when they need it.
• Optimize the Catalog Lifecycle: Manage critical catalog maintenance routines, including SKU creation, vendor updates, supersessions, discontinued items, and lead-time tracking.
• Drive Operational Problem-Solving: Partner with Make/Model, Vendor, and Supply Chain teams to resolve inbound tickets (via JIRA, Zendesk, and Monday.com) and troubleshoot data anomalies, returns, or backorders.
• Elevate Customer Experience: Enhance product searchability, improve image acquisition workflows, and elevate overall content usability across our platform.
• Continuously Improve Workflows: Leverage data and key performance metrics to spot patterns, eliminate bottlenecks, and elevate our data quality standards across the business.

What We’re Looking For

• Product & Data Background: 2+ years of experience handling high-SKU digital catalogs, data management, or catalog operations within an eCommerce, retail, or automotive environment.
• Automotive Knowledge: Familiarity with automotive mechanical systems and industry data standards (ACES/PIES) is highly preferred.
• Technical Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience navigating workflow management tools like JIRA, Zendesk, or Monday.com.
• Analytical Mindset: Demonstrated ability to manipulate, audit, and extract insights from large data sets.
• Ownership & Collaboration: Proven track record of taking end-to-end ownership of projects, operating with high accuracy, and collaborating effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation

This is an exempt salaried role with a base salary of $55,000 - $75,000 depending on experience, with a total compensation opportunity of $60,000 to $80,000 annually.
