Job Description

Driving growth of sales within the eCommerce space is a strategic priority for the global Commercial Cards business.

The newly formed Global eCommerce Sales team for Commercial Cards is a strategic arm of the broader Global Commercial Cards Product Sales organization. This team functions as skilled specialists for strategic Commercial Card eCommerce opportunities across client segments.

Specifically, the successful candidate will drive origination, penetration of new flows, solutioning complex multi-regional deals, increasing wallet share via non-traditional buying centers, and building strong partnerships with relevant banking teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the growth and origination of new eCommerce Commercial Cards business for North America.
  • Identify, solution, and originate new eCommerce flow opportunities, including mandates from B2B travel intermediaries.
  • Drive initiatives to capture new flows within the eCommerce segment.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Banking partners to drive deal origination and support sales efforts.
  • Manage revenue ramp-up of deals and ensure positive client experiences during implementation.
  • Support Card Sales Initiatives and win efforts.
  • Analyze client spend data to recommend strategic growth areas and develop strategies.
  • Achieve annual win and revenue targets.

The candidate should have in-depth knowledge of competition and trends in payments and eCommerce to contribute meaningfully to business objectives. The role requires a skilled sales strategist capable of translating business strategy into effective sales practices that accelerate growth.

Broad knowledge of core systems, technology, products, and sales disciplines is essential.

The role involves thought leadership in the Commercial Cards eCommerce space, both internally and externally.

Qualifications
  • Expertise in commercial card products, industry, and targeted eCommerce clients.
  • Proven success in corporate sales within banking/finance sectors.
  • Experience in B2B travel intermediaries is a plus.
  • Mastery of consultative selling, negotiation, and sales disciplines.
  • Creative thinking for innovative client solutions.
  • Comfort operating in a matrixed environment.
  • Strong relationship-building skills across functions and regions.
  • Project management skills with attention to detail and leadership in managing multiple work streams.
  • Approximately 10 years of industry sales experience, preferably in large/middle market sectors.
  • University Degree required.
  • Ability to travel 20% of the time.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for senior-level client interactions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a global matrix environment.
Additional Information

This role is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.

The starting pay range is $60.00/HR-$75/HR. Compensation depends on experience, skills, certifications, training, and location.
