Job summary

OpenTalent is seeking a Financial Business Analyst with finance domain experience for an onsite role in McLean, VA. You will gather requirements from Accounting, Finance and Tax teams, translate them into functional specifications, map current and future processes, support UAT and data validation, and identify automation opportunities across financial systems.

Min 7+ years of BA experience in accounting/finance/tax, with mortgage/financial services exposure and strong stakeholder skills; on-site

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with exposure to accounting, finance, or tax functions
• Experience in mortgage, banking, or financial services; GSE experience a plus
• Strong requirements gathering, process mapping, and documentation skills
• Familiarity with financial systems/ERP and reporting tools
• Excellent stakeholder communication and cross-functional coordination
• SQL or data analysis skills
• Exposure to ROE or mortgage servicing cost processes (preferred)
• Exposure to tax compliance workflows (federal/state, GSE-specific reporting)
