Job summary

Lakeside Book Company in Kendallville is seeking an Assistant Machine Operator to support the digital bindery and press operations. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a team environment.

Digital Bindery - Bindery Assistant (Finance)

Assistant Machine Operator

Starting Rate OR Range: $18.75 plus 7.5% an hour shift differential for night shift

Additional Incentives:

Work Hours: 12-hour shift (days and nights)

Location: 3094 Lester Dr. Kendallville, IN

As our Assistant Machine operator, you will:

• Assist the machine Operator with the everyday operation of the press
• Ensure machine is producing product to exceed our customers' expectations

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to Lift and carry up to 50 pound
• Must be able to stand for the entire duration of your shift

Qualifications:

• Experience - Previous machine experience preferred
• Attention to detail, good communication skills, and comfortable with computer applications
• Ability to work in teams or alone, ability to motivate other team members
