Job summary

Truist Wealth seeks an experienced Program/Portfolio Manager to drive demand intake, align with strategic priorities, and lead high-impact initiatives across the digital banking portfolio.

You will partner with digital, platform leads, and senior leaders, mentor junior PMs, and ensure effective PI planning and roadmaps in an all-in-office environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 8–10+ years of experience in Program/Portfolio Management or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
  • Extensive experience operating and leading in Agile organizations.
  • Exceptional meeting management, conflict management, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve unique and complex technical, operational, and organizational problems.
  • Advanced analytical skills and the ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Execute the demand intake process and work with the requestor, platform leads, digital leads, architects and other key stakeholders to clearly define the idea for review, decision and prioritization by the established decisioning bodies / committees.
  • Lead / participate the intake ceremonies. Keep the leaders, requestors and other key stakeholders regularly updated on progress of intake items through reports and/or other channels of communication.
  • Establish and maintain strong business relationships with digital and platform leads, architects and other key stakeholders.
  • Partner with Portfolio, Digital and Platform Leadership team to ensure alignment of intake ideas with established strategic priorities: annual and quarterly priorities
  • Engage in continuous improvement activities by receiving regular feedback from partners, recommending improvement opportunities and partnering with peers and key stakeholders in implementing the opportunities.
  • May play lead role in moderately complex projects or initiatives
  • Identify and resolve technical, operational, risk management, business, and organizational challenges with the delivery of assigned projects
  • Lead the most complex and high-impact projects or initiatives across the digital banking portfolio.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and advisor to senior leadership.
  • Drive the development and implementation of strategic priorities and process improvements.
  • Mentor and develop junior and mid-level project management teammates.
  • Represent the organization in cross-functional and enterprise-wide initiatives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Execute the demand intake process and work with the requestor, platform leads, digital leads, architects and other key stakeholders to clearly define the idea for review, decision and prioritization by the established decisioning bodies / committees.

QUALIFICATIONS Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

  2. Deep banking or financial services experience.
  3. Proven track record of establishing and optimizing demand intake processes.
