Peoples Bank and Trust in Kansas seeks a Digital Banking and IT Coordinator to support digital banking initiatives, information security governance, and regulatory documentation. You will coordinate, document, and report to keep projects moving forward and work closely with the IT Director and other departments.
The role emphasizes communication, organization, and process improvement, with a focus on coordination rather than technical cybersecurity or decision-making.
The Digital Banking and IT Coordinator supports the Bank’s Digital Banking Program, Information Security Program, and IT Governance Program through coordination, documentation, communication, tracking, and administrative support. This position assists with organizing technology initiatives, digital banking services, regulatory documentation, IT projects, and governance activities. This position works closely with the IT Director and other departments to help keep projects, program requirements, reports, and documentation organized, current, and moving forward. This position is coordination-focused and does not perform technical system administration, cybersecurity operations, Information Security Officer responsibilities, or final approval of technology or governance decisions.
This position is responsible for the following functions:
This position supports the Bank’s Information Security Program through coordination, documentation, reporting, and administrative oversight but does not make Information Security decisions, approve risk, or perform technical cybersecurity functions.
This position supports the Bank’s IT Governance Program through coordination, documentation, and administrative oversight but does not make technology decisions or approve governance policies.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Project Management, Finance, Marketing, or related field preferred
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge of Digital Banking Platforms, banking operations, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Microsoft Excel, project coordination; Preferred knowledge of FFIEC Guidelines, GLBA, and KnowBe4
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Banking experience preferred
SKILLS/ABILITIES: Advanced computer literacy required, strong written and verbal communication skills, social and interpersonal skills, ability to solve problems, attention to detail, self-motivation, ability to consistently follow through on tasks, problem-solving, organized, analytical, customer relationship building, ability to multitask
TALKING: Ability to speak effectively and communicate clearly
AVERAGE HEARING: Ability to hear average conversations at a standard level in an office environment around other customers and bank personnel
REPETITIVE MOTION: The employee is regularly required to type throughout the day
FINGER DEXTERITY: The employee is regularly required to use their hands to type and maneuver a mouse
AVERAGE VISION: Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus with 20/20 vision (with or without the assistance of eyeglasses/contacts)
PHYSICAL STRENGTH: The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds (unassisted), as well as stand or sit for long periods of time
General professional office environment with climate control and adequate lighting. Occasional travel to branch locations. Occasional hours outside of normal bank hours as needed.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to deal with a variety of variables under only limited standardization.
MATHEMATICS ABILITY: Strong numeric capabilities; ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide inall units of measure using whole numbers and common fractions.
LANGUAGE ABILITY: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to communicate clearly.
