Job summary

Bankers Trust is seeking a Digital Banking Analyst I for its Des Moines, IA team. The role coordinates issue resolution during outages and supports customers using Digital Banking services including mobile and internet banking, Positive Pay, ACH, Wire Transfers, and more.

The position requires four+ years in bank operations or similar financial functions or an equivalent education/experience combination, with a potential hybrid work arrangement in Des Moines.

Primary Functions and/or Responsibilities:

• Coordinates the research, reporting, and resolution of issues identified for assigned Digital Banking functions during product/system outages. Works closely with other business units and vendors to resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Sets up, trains, maintains and provides support for customers using Digital Banking services such as mobile banking, Business Internet Banking, Consumer Internet Banking, People Pay, Positive Pay, ACH, Remote Deposit, Fed EDI reporting and Wire Transfers. Updates bill pay temporary and permanent limits (ensuring appropriate approvals are received), which includes file testing files and other IT support.
• Serves as Subject Matter expert on departmental as well as PMO for Corporate wide projects.
• Reviews and approves/declines mobile banking deposit exceptions during closing shift.
• Creates and maintains documentation for procedures for new and existing products and keep disaster recovery scripts up to date. Proposes system and procedure changes as needed to prevent future issues, improve function, or improve service.
• Monitors and reviews vendor communications for all products and services supported by the Digital Banking team for enhancements and new feature/functionality; escalating unresolved issues, including all relevant details, to appropriate individuals and/or vendors.
• Performs other duties as assigned, such as preparing and sending monthly Account Analysis file.

Education and/or Experience:

• At least four years of experience in Bank operations, project coordination, or similar financial functions required
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience

Specific Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a time sensitive environment
• Understanding of bank operations
• Understanding of financial institutions, payment processing flows (especially electronic payments), and the financial networks for processing
• Understanding of general IT support/troubleshooting strategies
• Working knowledge of Banking/Financial Institution regulatory requirements
• Ability to communicate and relate to people from varying relationships (i.e. personal and business), varying levels of understanding, and varying levels of positions
• Ability to understand, use, monitor, and evaluate varying types of computer systems
• Must keep current and be highly knowledgeable of the rules and regulations regarding the processing of electronic payments

Hiring Salary Range

The hiring range below reflects targeted base salary. Actual compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s prior related experience & education and will be finalized at the time of offer. In addition to base salary, most positions are also eligible to participate in our annual bonus program. Select positions may also be eligible to earn incentives and/or commissions. Hiring Salary Range: $54,000 - $63,000 plus Annual Bonus.
