Job summary

CUMULUS MEDIA in Kansas City, KS seeks a Digital Assistant to support sales executives and the revenue management team. You will assist in digital campaigns, prepare reports, and help deliver innovative digital advertising solutions for clients.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in digital marketing, strong communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and analytics tools. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in the digital space and/or working in digital marketing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of Wide Orbit, Google Ad Manager, Google Analytics & Campaign Dashboards is a plus.
• Extensive computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), image manipulation, social media, and understanding of digital advertising and assets involved.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between the sales team, clients, and internal departments.
• Organize and input orders; assist in creating sales proposals and digital campaigns; provide customer care to grow business.
• Prepare and assemble digital reports, recaps, and presentations.
• Track pacing and performance of digital campaigns to ensure timely delivery.
• Collaborate with local media team on creative, content creation, campaign fulfillment, and recaps.
• Assist with weekly/monthly digital reports with the Digital Manager.
• Handle time-sensitive projects and meet deadlines.
• Manage multiple project requests with quick turnaround.
• Support Digital Manager with additional duties as assigned.

Overview

CUMULUS MEDIA | Kansas City, KS has an immediate opening for a Digital Assistant. This role is an integral part of our digital team and provides administrative support to sales executives and the revenue management team. The Digital Assistant will play a key role in the implementation of effective digital advertising strategies for our clients and can use their passion for digital and audio marketing to assist in the development of personalized, innovative, full-scope digital marketing solutions to meet the needs of new and existing clients. The ideal candidate will be efficient, dependable, hardworking and can balance multiple deadline-oriented projects while maintaining a positive attitude and sense of humor in a fast-paced work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Primary role as a liaison between our sales team, our clients, and other inter-company departments of vendor services
• Organize and input both new and revised orders; assist in creating sales proposals and digital campaigns; provide customer care to help overcome challenges and grow our business
• Prepare and assemble digital reports, recaps, and presentations
• Track pacing and performance of all digital campaigns to ensure accurate delivery and campaigns are launched on time
• Work closely with our local media team to assist with creative, content creation, campaign fulfillment, delivery, and recaps
• Work with the Digital Manager to complete weekly/monthly digital reports
• Work on highly time sensitive projects, adhering to deadlines
• Manage multiple project requests simultaneously with quick turnaround time
• Additional duties as designated by the Digital Manager

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in the digital space and/or working in digital marketing
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• An understanding of Wide Orbit, Google Ad Manager, Google Analytics & Campaign Dashboards is a plus
• Extensive computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), image manipulation, social media, and understanding of digital advertising and assets involved
• Self-starter, detail oriented, organized, with strong multitasking and communication skills
• Dependable with a strong work ethic and a collaborative, team-oriented attitude
• Ability to identify client business needs and develop customized digital advertising solutions to meet objectives
• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Ability to troubleshoot issues, propose solutions, and escalate when necessary
• Proficiency in creating and inputting digital sales orders and digital ads
• Maintain organized records of campaign assets, contracts, and client communications
• Provide general administrative and sales support as needed

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range: USD $43,000 – USD $48,000 per year.
