Job summary

BDO USA is seeking a Digital Assets Tax Managing Director to lead tax compliance and consulting for clients in the digital assets space. You will develop and manage client relationships while applying advanced tax knowledge to resolve issues and identify planning opportunities.

You will supervise engagement teams, collaborate with other service lines, and contribute to practice development and growth across the firm.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required for this role.
Ten or more years of tax experience in public accounting are required.
Experience serving clients in the Digital Assets ecosystem is required.
Experience supervising, mentoring, and developing tax professionals is required.
CPA, Attorney, or EA designation or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

Provide tax compliance and tax consulting services to Digital Assets clients.
Develop, build, and manage client relationships and ensure high-quality service.
Review complex tax returns, extensions, and tax workpapers for accuracy.
Advise clients on tax matters involving digital assets and blockchain activities.
Lead engagement teams and manage multiple client engagements.
Monitor tax law changes and communicate updates to teams and clients.
