Job summary

Michels Corporation is seeking a Digital Asset Manager in Fond du Lac, WI to oversee the DAM portfolio, ensure accessibility and governance, and drive continuous optimization. You will serve as the admin and business owner of the DAM platform, enabling teams to locate and use assets confidently.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and the ability to prioritize multiple initiatives across Marketing, Communications, and Creative Services. Relevant DAM experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Information Management, Library Science, Digital Media, Business Administration or related field with 3+ years of DAM or digital content experience.
• Hands-on experience administering a Digital Asset Management platform such as Orange Logic, Bynder, Canto, Acquia DA, Adobe Experience Manager, or similar.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with SharePoint, Adobe Creative Cloud, and content management systems.
• Understanding of permissions management and digital rights management.
• Working knowledge of metadata and taxonomy for asset organization.
• Experience supporting multiple business units is a plus.
• Knowledge of AI-powered content tagging tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the company's Digital Asset Management (DAM) system, including asset organization, metadata standards, taxonomy, and governance.
• Ensure digital assets are accurate, accessible, up to date, and compliant with brand, legal, and licensing requirements.
• Develop and implement standards, policies, and workflows that improve asset discoverability, consistency, and lifecycle management.
• Provide user training, support, and best practices to drive DAM adoption across the organization.
• Monitor system usage, analyze performance metrics, and recommend process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Communications, and Creative Services to optimize asset management, workflows, and user experience.
