Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a FM/OEM Digital Delivery Specialist to develop, manage, and deliver asset information across the project lifecycle, bridging design, construction, and operations. You will ensure asset data is captured, validated, and integrated into FM, CMMS, IWMS, and EAM platforms, enabling lifecycle optimization.

The role requires expertise in asset information management, COBie, BIM for FM, and digital turnover, with strong data governance and stakeholder engagement skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience supporting asset information management, BIM for FM, facilities technology, or digital delivery initiatives.
• Knowledge of COBie and structured asset data deliverables.
• Experience developing and auditing asset information models (AIM).
• Experience integrating BIM and asset data into CMMS/IWMS/EAM platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage Asset Information Models (AIM) supporting facility operations and maintenance.
• Define project AIR and OIR requirements.
• Establish asset data standards, governance, and QA processes.
• Validate asset data across design, construction, commissioning, turnover.
• Ensure asset information meets owner/operator requirements for lifecycle management.
• Lead COBie data collection, validation, and delivery.
• Audit asset data for completeness and accuracy.
• Coordinate with design teams, contractors, vendors.
• Create standardized digital turnover and handover processes.
• Reconcile BIM and asset data across systems.
• Develop asset tagging standards and naming conventions.
• Coordinate asset identification across project execution.
• Support barcode/QR/RFID and digital tracking implementations.
• Verify asset metadata across BIM and FM platforms.
• Perform asset inventory reviews and validation.
• Develop BIM deliverables for FM operations.
• Review BIM models for required information.
• Support BIM-to-FM workflows.
• Validate Levels of Development (LOD).
• Coordinate operational data requirements into project deliverables.
• Support digital asset management strategies and lifecycle data management.
• Align asset information with CMMS/IWMS/CAFM/EAM systems.
• Assist in asset data migration and integration.
