Job summary

AVIAN is seeking a junior Digital Architecture Program Analyst to provide foundational operational and analytical support to the Digital Architecture IPT. You will help maintain schedules, track deliverables, and compile data for executive dashboards and status reports.

We value individuals with basic project management skills and a background in digital engineering, Agile methods, and enterprise architecture frameworks, and who can obtain a DoD security clearance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in related roles.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance; US citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

  • Support IPT meeting logistics, track action items, and ensure timely task completion.
  • Maintain IPT master schedules, trackers, and deliverable timelines with project tools.
  • Analyze performance metrics, budgets, and resources to drive decisions and prepare dashboards.
  • Identify and mitigate programmatic and technical risks related to digital architecture.
  • Prepare presentation slides and dashboards for IPT leadership.

Job description

AVIAN is seeking a junior Digital Architecture Program Analyst. As a Program Analyst, you'll provide foundational operational and analytical support to the Digital Architecture Integrated Product Team (IPT) — gaining hands‑on experience from day one. This role focuses on maintaining project schedules, tracking deliverables, and compiling programmatic data for executive dashboards and status reports. You'll track cross‑functional action items and support the day‑to‑day operations of the Digital Architecture team, becoming a central connector across the organization. The Program Analyst will possess fundamental project management skills and background or experience in digital engineering, Agile methodologies, and enterprise architecture frameworks.

Responsibilities & Duties
  • Support the logistical organization of IPT meetings, workshops, and cross‑functional syncs — making sure every interaction counts. Track open action items and follow up with team members to ensure timely completion of urgent tasks.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating IPT master schedules, project trackers, and deliverable timelines. Log updates in project management tools. Monitor project execution against established baselines to ensure timely delivery of digital architecture components.
  • Dive into performance metrics, resource allocation, and budget data analysis — transforming raw numbers into insights that drive decisions. Prepare executive briefings, dashboards, and regular status reports for IPT Leadership and stakeholders.
  • Assist in identifying, documenting, and mitigating programmatic and technical risks associated with digital architecture and integration efforts.
  • Prepare presentation slides and dashboards for IPT leadership.
Required Qualifications & Education
  • Education Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • Experience Minimum 2 years of experience.
Preferred Skills & Certifications
  • Proficiency in tracking action items, maintaining master schedules, and utilizing program management software (MS Project, SharePoint)
  • Experience with AMS Suite for Procurement Initiation Documents (PIDs), SOWs, and J&A drafting and editing
  • Ability to use Excel and MS Office tools to sync with Cloud‑based teams and SharePoint tools for briefings and material creation.
Additional Requirements
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense security clearance.
  • Due to the sensitivity of customer‑related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Salary range $77,000 - $80,000 (The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.)
