Guidewire’s Digital Practice is a team of engineers, UX designers, and domain experts delivering customer-facing projects for insurance clients and delivery partners. The Digital Architect will drive design and implementation of web/mobile solutions using JavaScript, React, and Guidewire’s Jutro design system.

You will mentor teams, collaborate with UX, and support migrations from AngularJS to React, with onsite travel to client sites as needed.

• 5+ years of software development experience with web technologies.
• Proven leadership and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience or willingness to learn Guidewire’s Jutro design system.
• Insurance industry experience is a plus.

Job Description

The Guidewire Digital Practice is a group of highly motivated technology engineers, user experience designers, and domain experts working with insurance clients, InsurTechs and delivery partners in current, leading-edge technologies delivering exciting, customer-facing projects.

We are seeking a highly motivated Digital technical architect looking to work with current, leading-edge technology on challenging, customer focused consulting and implementation projects.

Guidewire’s market-leading Digital products enable insurance carriers to build and implement leading-edge sales and self-service digital capabilities. These capabilities provide Agents and Policy Holders interfaces to quickly and easily create and service insurance policies.

As a Digital Architect in Professional Services, you will:

• Lead the design and development of web and mobile solutions using JavaScript, React (4-5+ years), and Guidewire’s Jutro design system.
• Collaborate with UX designers and cross-functional teams to deliver single-page applications and digital services.
• Apply expertise in CSS, SASS, automated unit testing (Jest/Enzyme), and server-side technologies (JSON/RPC, REST).
• Mentor and guide development teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

• Insurance industry experience is a plus.
