This is a remote position. We are seeking an experienced Digital Architect - Data to support large-scale digital transformation, service innovation, and modernization initiatives within a complex public-sector environment. The Digital Architect will serve as a senior technical leader within cross-functional Agile product teams, providing architectural direction across data, software, integrations, application design, and digital services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience as a Data Architect, Software Architect, Senior Data Engineer, or closely related senior architecture role.
• Minimum 5 years of experience leading cross-functional Agile product teams.
• Minimum 5 years of experience leading solution architecture and establishing overall technical direction.
• Minimum 4 years of experience leading domain modelling and database schema design.
• Minimum 5 years of experience communicating complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience working in complex enterprise environments.
• Strong architectural leadership, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

The initial engagement is 12 months with extension potential , primarily remote within Canada. One important aspect of this opportunity is that the submission requires two project/assignment examples demonstrating your Digital Architect experience. Each project needs to show your specific architectural responsibilities, project complexity/scope, delivery approach, and technologies/architecture capabilities used. Recent public-sector, digital service delivery, modernization, or enterprise transformation experience is particularly valuable. Based on your background, I'd be interested in learning whether you have two recent architecture projects that could align with these requirements.
