Lilly is building the Medicine Foundry in Indiana and seeking a leader to drive digital adoption and change communications across startup phases. You will craft adoption narratives, campaigns, and coaching to ensure smooth, human-centered technology rollouts across leaders, champions, and end users.
This role requires expertise in change management, communications, and facilitation, with a focus on scalable practices and enterprise technology implementations in a regulated environment.
At Lilly, the work is demanding because patients are waiting. We unite caring with discovery to help make life better for people around the world, knowing that every decision, every detail, and every day matters. Headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana, our over 50,000 employees around the globe take on complex challenges to discover and deliver life-changing medicines, strengthen how health is understood and managed, and support the communities we serve. This is hard, urgent, selfless work—but it’s work worth doing. If you’re driven by purpose and ready to bring your best to work that truly matters for patients, we invite you to join us.
Lilly recently announced a $4.5 billion investment to create the Lilly Medicine Foundry, a new center for advanced manufacturing and drug development. Combining research and manufacturing in a single location for the first time, the Medicine Foundry will allow Lilly to further develop innovative solutions to optimize manufacturing processes and increase capacity for clinical trial medicines, while also reducing costs and environmental impact.
During the Project Delivery and Startup phases of the project (2025 to 2028), roles will be fluid and dynamic as we endeavor to support the project delivery, build a new organization, and develop and implement the necessary systems and business processes required to support GMP operations. This will require significant collaboration, creativity, and resilience as the Lilly Medicine Foundry moves from design, to startup, and to steady-state operations.
The Digital Adoption & Change Communications Lead is the Foundry's go‑to leader for the people side of technology and process change. The role owns two connected capabilities: driving user adoption of new digital tools, platforms, and ways of working, and building the change communications craft that turns technical rollouts into stories, campaigns, and behaviors people actually pick up. A third, growing capability is coaching and facilitating structured innovation sessions across the site. We are looking for someone strong in adoption and communications who is genuinely curious about facilitation and eager to develop that skill set with support.
The Foundry will invest in developing this capability through mentoring, training, and hands‑on partnership with experienced facilitators. Prior facilitation experience is welcome but not required.
