Digital News and Streaming

The Advertising Product team sits within the Digital News and Streaming group and has ownership of all ad product decisions; sitting across formats, audience segmentation, demand partnerships and the technology needed to deliver ads effectively and efficiently. The Ad Product, Technology and Operational division are responsible for the fulfilment of all direct advertising activity as well supporting the successful delivery of deal-based programmatic revenues.

The team ensures the successful enablement of sales teams to guarantee the proper functioning of sales workflows. This is achieved through diligent, experienced servicing of campaigns via platforms, consistent communications regarding the commercial portfolio of ad products, frequent training on tools and process as well as the flawless execution of contractual commitments.

The Job Purpose involves managing a team of digital experts and traffickers based out of New York, operating in a complex Ad Operations business, focused on sales enablement, managing a highly skilled team, and reporting to the VP of Ad Product & Operations in London.

Key Responsibilities include overseeing delivery of ad campaigns, handling inventory requests, supporting sales with reports, managing billing cycles, collaborating with teams on operations and testing, generating insights for improvements, providing support for ad troubleshooting, ensuring policy adherence, leading team training, and supporting testing and growth initiatives.

Knowledge, Skills, Training & Experience required include 5+ years managing digital ad operations teams, experience with digital advertising products and troubleshooting programmatic deals, familiarity with ad management systems like Google Ad Manager, Salesforce, or Mediacloud, and strong communication and facilitation skills. Desirable skills include experience with BI tools, data reconciliation, and advanced Excel, JavaScript, and HTML skills.

The compensation range is $125,000 to $135,000 annually, with additional benefits such as insurance, flexible work arrangements, and perks like gym reimbursement and social events.
