Job summary

A leading company is seeking a Digimatte Artist to produce high-quality digimatte elements for film integration. The successful candidate will work closely with various teams, ensuring excellence in lighting and color while utilizing advanced 3D software. This position requires strong conceptual skills and a minimum of 5 years' experience in the VFX industry.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in the VFX / Animation industry.
• Strong understanding of high standards of perspective, lighting, and color.
• Ability to produce complex digimatte elements efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Produce complex digimatte elements following the Production Designer's direction.
• Build believable environments using rendered CG elements and digital paint.
• Collaborate with teams to finalize shots efficiently.

Skills

Proficient in Nuke

Proficient in Photoshop

Understanding of compositing

Familiarity with AOVs

Familiarity with EXR files

Time management

Education

Bachelor's degree in Art
