Job summary

Select Maintenance, a sister company of Ragle Inc., is seeking an experienced Digger Derrick Operator to join the Houston team. The role involves operating digger derricks, bucket trucks, and aerial lifts on roadway and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities include safe operation, site transport, equipment inspections, maintenance, and mentorship of crew members. Must hold Texas CDL Class A or B and be insurable; MUTCD compliance is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Texas CDL Class A or B License.
• Minimum 8 years of construction, utility, traffic signal, signage, or related experience.
• Familiarity with MUTCD standards.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be insurable.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate digger derricks, bucket trucks, aerial lifts, and related equipment
• Transport equipment and materials to and from job sites
• Load and unload equipment from trucks and trailers
• Perform daily equipment inspections and preventative maintenance
• Assist with installation, maintenance, and repair activities
• Follow MUTCD standards and company safety requirements
• Assist with training and mentoring crew members
• Maintain required licenses, certifications, and training
• Use proper PPE and safe work practices at all times
