Job summary

Regions Hospital is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join the Digestive Care team. You will work under the Nurse Manager and RN supervision to monitor and document patient care, assist physicians, and coordinate communication with patients and families.

We emphasize evidence-based practice and professional governance, supporting nurses to manage their practice and environment while delivering compassionate, high-quality care to our community.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited training program for Practical Nursing.
• Licensed as a Practical Nurse by the State of Minnesota.
• CPR for the professional rescuer or BLS for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Observe and monitor patients under supervision of the RN and Nurse Manager.
• Document and perform nursing care per physician orders.
• Coordinate communication with patients, families and health professionals.
• Provide a safe, therapeutic environment and assist with procedures as directed.
