Job summary

Analog Devices in Beaverton, OR is seeking an Equipment Technician 2 to support semiconductor wafer fabrication in a cleanroom. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize diffusion furnace and wet sink equipment to maximize tool availability and production uptime.

Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance, root-cause analysis, and data-driven improvements, while following 5S and safety protocols and documenting actions in the system.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electronics or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• Minimum of 2 years maintaining semiconductor processing equipment.
• Experience with diffusion furnaces and/or linear wet sinks preferred.
• Ability to read schematics and use diagnostic tools.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow cleanroom protocols, safety requirements, and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Monitor equipment performance and respond to trends within the module.
• Perform preventive, corrective, and diagnostic maintenance with root-cause focus.
• Execute troubleshooting plans to reduce tool downtime and improve recovery time.
• Analyze tool data to identify trends and support continuous improvement.
• Document maintenance actions and updates accurately.
• Share knowledge and mentor cross-training within the team.
• Support improvements to increase uptime and reduce cost of ownership.
