Job summary

Texas Instruments is seeking an Equipment Engineer to join a vibrant, team-oriented environment where you will influence multiple areas of manufacturing technology. You will evaluate, select, and procure equipment, oversee installations, and drive uptime improvements across diffusion, thermal processing, and RTP processes.

You will work with advanced TEL/ASM/AMAT platforms, monitor equipment performance, and provide hands-on technical support to repair and process engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electrical/Computer, Chemical, Mechanical, Materials Science or Physics).
• 3 years of experience as Equipment Engineer in semiconductor manufacturing—diffusion, thermal processing or RTP.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, selecting, and ordering equipment most appropriate and cost effective for manufacture of company products.
• Overseeing the installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
• Keeping current on equipment manufacturers' technical notices, upgrades and safety issues.
• Studying equipment performance and reliability.
• Establishing programs and solutions for increasing uptime and for equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process.
• Providing technical support to the manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations.
• Defining and writing preventative maintenance schedules.
