Job summary

TSMC Arizona is seeking a Diffusion Engineering Manager to lead the Diffusion department, directing engineering and manufacturing operations for wafer processing excellence. The role requires overseeing process improvements across module processes and equipment, coordinating with Process Integration, Manufacturing, Yield Improvement, and Cross-Module teams to sustain high-quality output.

The position emphasizes mentoring staff, setting priorities, and ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Materials, Chemical, Automation or related field plus 3 years engineering experience.
• Alternatively, Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years progressive engineering experience.
• Experience with semiconductor diffusion equipment and related processing technologies.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, mentor, and develop engineering staff with career development plans.
• Set departmental priorities, allocate resources, and evaluate performance metrics.
• Establish policies and procedures that promote efficiency, safety, and compliance.
