1200 MH-Memphis Hospitals is looking for a Registered Dietitian to formulate and implement nutrition therapy for patients with obesity and diabetes. The role includes collaborating with healthcare teams and providing nutrition education.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, experience in the field, and possess the necessary state licenses. Skills in communication, critical thinking, and knowledge of the Nutrition Care Process are essential.
Formulate and implement optimal nutrition therapy and evaluate outcomes for assigned patients. Coordinate nutritional care with other disciplines and provide nutrition education to medical and surgical patients with obesity and diabetes. Serve as a role model aligned with the organization’s mission, vision and values.
The role may include climbing, pushing, standing, walking, reaching, grasping, kneeling, stooping, and repetitive motion. The associate may exert up to 25 lbs. of force occasionally or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently. Close visual acuity is required for data analysis, transcribing and computer use. Tasks are performed under general office or administrative conditions with minimal exposure to adverse environmental conditions.
