Qualifications

• Complete comprehensive nutritional assessments on admission.
• Counsel patients on well-balanced nutrition in individual sessions and group discussions.
• Prepare individualized meal plans considering medical, nutritional, cultural, religious and ethical factors.
• Provide weekly nutritional counseling for patients and family (as needed).
• Documentation and reporting of nutrition status; maintain HIPAA compliance.
• Communication with referring/outpatient dietitians at admission, during treatment, and discharge.
