Job summary

Encino Hospital Medical Center is seeking a per diem Registered Dietitian to support nutrition services in a fast-paced hospital setting. You will assist with patient screening, nutrition education materials, and data reporting under a supervising dietitian.

Responsibilities include clerical tasks and ensuring safe food handling and timely menu delivery, contributing to quality patient care in a community-focused hospital.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian Eligible required.
• Completion of an American Dietetic Association approved internship or supervised practice.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university.

• Under the direction of a Registered Dietitian, assists in visitation, nutritional screening of patients, distributes general references for basic nutrition, and data gathering and reports data to the dietitian.
• Performs the clerical/support duties necessary for optimal patient care, including the safety and efficiency of food prepared and menu delivery system.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $28.00 to $28.00. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
