Job summary

Encino Hospital Medical Center seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our 150-bed acute care team. Under RN supervision, you will assist with activities of daily living and provide basic nursing care while helping maintain a safe, healing environment in the day shift.

Required: Nursing Assistant certification, English proficiency, knowledge of medical terminology, and current BCLS; prior acute care or physician's office experience is preferred.

Assists with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to acute rehabilitation patients and assists in maintenance of a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered nurse in charge of the team and / or unit.

Education and Work Experience

• Certification for nursing assistant required.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician?s office.
• Current BCLS required.
