Qualifications

  • Master's Degree required with Bachelor's in Dietetics with ACEND-accredited DPD and supervised practice if initial CDR registration is after Jan 1, 2024.
  • Advanced Practice Certification.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English; medical terminology knowledge.
  • Advanced computer skills and working knowledge of MS Office.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with medical teams, patients, and families.

Qualifications

**EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:**

  • Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics or related field with completion of an ACEND-accredited DPD (Didactic Program in Dietetics) and supervised practice program (dietetic internship) required if Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential was obtained prior to January 1, 2024, and credential is active and issued by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
  • Master's Degree required with Bachelor's in Dietetics or related field with completion of an ACEND-accredited DPD (Didactic Program in Dietetics) and supervised practice program (dietetic internship) if initial registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) is effective on or after January 1, 2024.
  • Advanced Practice Certification.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English; comprehensive understanding and application of medical terminology.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions and perform arithmetic calculations with accuracy.
  • Advanced computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with medical, nursing, and other healthcare professionals, patients, and their families.
  • One year of clinical experience as a Registered Dietitian in a healthcare setting preferred.

**CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:**

  • Registered Dietitian or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist credential from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND).
