Inova Fairfax Medical Campus is seeking a self-motivated, high-performing Clinical Registered Dietitian to provide world-class nutrition care for our inpatient population. This role is full-time Day Shift (40 hrs/week) Monday - Friday with rotating weekends.

The Registered Dietitian provides safe and therapeutic nutritional care systematically and comprehensively.

Provides clinical services, acts as a resource for healthcare professionals, and coordinates nutrition care plans with physicians and other providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Formulates individualized nutrition plans based on assessments, trends, and best practices.

Performs additional duties as assigned.

Registered Dietitian Requirements for Consideration:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree minimum if licensed before 1/1/2024; Master’s Degree required if registered after 1/1/2024.
• Experience: Dietetic internship or equivalent.
• Certification:
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) required within 3 months of hire.
  • Basic Life Support from American Heart Association required within 3 months of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous inpatient clinical experience.
