Job summary

Medical City McKinney is seeking a Clinical Dietitian to coordinate patient nutritional care under the supervision of the Director of Food and Nutrition Services. The role emphasizes service, safety, and professionalism to deliver the best patient experience.

You will join the Nutrition Support Team with pharmacists and physicians, perform screenings and assessments, educate patients on therapeutic diets, guide Aide staff on diet compliance, and document outcomes to inform care decisions.

Qualifications

• CDR registration required.
• Licensed Dietitian must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient nutritional care under supervision of Director of Food and Nutrition Services.
• Provide nutritional screenings and assessments of patients.
• Educate patients on therapeutic diets.
• Inform Aide staff about allowed/disallowed foods based on prescribed diet.

What you will do in this role:

• You will be a member of Nutrition Support Team with the pharmacist and physician(s).

• You will provide nutritional screenings and assessments of patients.

• You will educate the patient on therapeutic diets.

• You will inform Aide staff in deciding which patient foods are allowed and disallowed based on the prescribed diet.

• You will document the patient’s tolerance, appropriateness, response to nutritional support and make recommendations.

What qualifications you will need:

• Commission Dietetic Registration

• Licensed Dietician must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date

• Bachelors Degree
