Job summary

Trustpoint Rehabilitation Hospital of Lubbock is seeking a Dietitian to join our patient-focused team in Lubbock, TX. We provide inpatient care for adults and pediatrics with diverse dietary needs.

Responsibilities include coordinating meals with the Food Services Manager, assessing dietary requirements, and supporting evidence-based nutrition care across our 93-bed facility. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities for continuing education.

Qualifications

• Current Dietitian license required or certified by the Commission on Dietetics.
• One year of experience in hospital patient care preferred.
• Demonstrates understanding of treatment costs and financial impact on care.
• Good computer skills: data entry, word processing, email, and records management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the preparation and serving of meals in collaboration with the Food Services Manager, based on general or special diets.
• Specifies dietary requirements for patients with special restrictions or nutritional needs.
• Integrates the hospital’s mission and guiding principles into daily practice.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Current Dietitian license required or certified by the Commission on Dietetics, as required by state.
• One year of experience in the care of patients in hospital setting preferred.
