Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital in Evansville, IN is seeking a part-time Registered Dietitian to join our clinical team. You will provide nutrition therapy, assess patients, and collaborate with medical and food service staff to ensure nutrition plans are implemented accurately and safely.

The role offers a sign-on bonus of $3,000 and compensation ranging from $26.00/hr to $41.00/hr based on experience. A strong orientation program and opportunities to contribute to exceptional patient care are

Qualifications

• Current state licensure/certification as required by state.
• Current registration by the Commission on Dietetics Registration.
• One year of work experience in a facility setting with clinical responsibilities or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide and monitor medical nutrition therapy plans.
• Work with medical staff, patients, families, and food service to implement nutrition care plans.
• Perform nutritional assessments and re-assessments and monitor patient progress.
• Develop and monitor enteral and/or parenteral nutrition support regimens.
• Collaborate with Speech Therapy to advance textured modified diets.
• Review nutrition orders for consistency with care protocols.
• Consider religious, cultural and ethnic factors in care plans.
• Educate staff on the Nutrition Care Manual and updates.
