Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians and other care disciplines.
• Evaluate referral orders for adequacy of nutrition intake methods.
• Document pertinent information in the patient’s medical record.
• Implement nutritional care plans, adapt menus, assist patients with dietary needs.
• Conduct calorie counts and make recommendations.
• Review, revise, and sign menus for nutritional adequacy.
