Job summary

Palmdale Regional Medical Center, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking a Clinical Dietitian to provide age-appropriate nutritional care for all patient populations and to support physician orders under dietitian supervision.

You will collaborate with the clinical team, educate patients and families, and contribute to menu planning and nutrition counseling within a supportive hospital setting at Palmdale Regional.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food and Nutrition or related field.
• Registered Dietitian (RD) credential.
• Certification in Food Service Sanitation by the state health department.

• Provide food and nutritional care for all ages as prescribed by physicians under the direct supervision of the dietitian.

Position Description

To provide food and nutritional care appropriate for all ages including infant, toddlers, pre-school, school age, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients as prescribed by physicians and under the direct supervision of the dietitian for age appropriate food items. Sign-On Bonus Available!

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Two or more years experience as a Clinical Dietitian preferred.
• Completion of all academic and supervised practice requirements as set forth by the American Dietetic Association (ADA) with a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Food and Nutrition or related field.
• Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration as a dietitian (RD), and any certifications as may be required by the state.
• Maintains Certification in Food Service Sanitation by the Department of Health.
