Job summary

Piedmont Henry Hospital seeks a Registered Dietitian to provide nutritional consultation for cancer patients across the care continuum. This role supports prevention, treatment and palliative care within a multidisciplinary team.

Required are a Bachelor's in nutrition/dietetics, RD credential and Georgia licensure. Three years of clinical nutrition in acute care and oncology nutrition experience are preferred. Join us to help patients thrive during challenging treatments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition, dietetics or related field from an AND-accredited program.
• 3 years of clinical nutrition experience in acute care; oncology nutrition preferred.
• RD credential and Georgia licensure required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional consultation to cancer patients across the continuum of care, from prevention to palliative care.
• Collaborate with oncology teams to develop individualized nutrition plans.
• Educate patients and families on nutrition during treatment and recovery.

Responsibilities

This position provides nutritional consultation to cancer patients across the continuum of the cancer experience including primary prevention, cancer treatment, secondary prevention, cancer recurrence and palliative care.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in nutrition, dietetics or related field of study from an Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) accredited program Required

Work Experience

• 3 years of clinical experience working in acute care with nutrition support, specifically enteral nutrition Preferred
• Work experience in oncology/cancer nutrition counseling Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• RD - Registered Dietician Registered Dietitian-Commission on Dietetic Registration Upon Hire Required
• RD - Registered Dietician Current Licensure in the State of Georgia as a Dietitian Upon Hire Required
