Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join their dynamic clinical team at Abbott Northwestern Hospital located in Minneapolis, MN. Position will cover the inpatient units and will do some outpatient work. This position is scheduled to work approximately 32 hours per week with excellent benefits.

  • Have prior behavioral health and outpatient education experience.
  • Use clinical research, advanced technology, and evidence-based practice to develop patient and family-focused treatment plans.
  • Be a passionate leader willing to stay current with scientific literature and help staff, patients, and families understand nutritional strategies to support and improve quality of life and clinical outcomes while living with a chronic illness.
  • Work as part of a dynamic clinical nutrition team and collaborate with progressive patient systems.
  • Demonstrate interest in partnering on research and outcomes, and work to understand and improve nutrition approaches.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by ACEND.

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the CDR and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities, the RD/RDN credential is required at the time of hire. Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice may also be necessary, either at the time of hire or subsequently.
