Job summary

Rogers Behavioral Health is offering a Registered Dietitian Intern position across Wisconsin locations, focusing on Nutrition Care Process-based therapy and patient-centered care. You'll work with a multidisciplinary team and partner with your university to tailor experiences.

The internship includes onboarding training, specialized crisis management education, and required background checks. Completion supports professional growth in dietetics within Rogers' care network.

Qualifications

• Completed bachelor's degree and enrolled in a Master's degree program in Dietetics.
• Successful completion of Rogers onboarding training coursework is required prior to start.
• Formal training in managing aggressive patients (NCI) within 60 days of placement.

Responsibilities

• Provide group and individual nutrition therapy via the Nutrition Care Process (NCP).
• Screen patients to identify those patients at nutritional risk via nursing assessment.
• Complete dietitian assessments on individuals according to risk level following screening.
• Provide individual nutrition therapy at a frequency necessary to meet the needs of the patient.
• Provide meal/snack outings, grocery store tours, cooking groups, and life-skills groups as indicated by program schedule.
• Recommend the need for transitional feedings and participate in the multidisciplinary team for nutrition therapies.
• Provide individualized drug/nutrient interaction education and adjust the IPOC as needed.
