Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Dietitian to promote health through personalized nutrition plans. You will assess nutritional needs, develop dietary plans, provide education, and guide post-discharge diets while monitoring status to optimize patient outcomes.

You’ll collaborate with physicians and care teams, document in medical records, and help implement menus and special diets. This role supports growth, education, and compassionate, high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian with ADA credentials.
• State licensure required.
• Bachelor's or higher in Food & Nutrition.
• Clinical dietetics experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Counsel patients per physician orders and diet instruction.
• Collaborate with physicians and other care disciplines.
• Assess referral orders for nutrition adequacy.
• Document in medical records per established standards.
• Implement nutritional care plans, adapt menus, and assist patients with special dietary needs.
• Conduct calorie counts and make appropriate recommendations.
• Review and sign menus for nutritional adequacy.
