Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Dietitian to promote health through personalized nutrition plans. You will assess nutritional needs, develop dietary strategies, educate on healthy eating, and monitor post-discharge diets to support recovery.

Join a national inpatient rehabilitation leader focused on compassionate patient care. You will collaborate with physicians and care teams, document medical records, and contribute to nutrition education, with opportunities for professional growth

Qualifications

• Registered dietitian with license to practice in the state.
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Food & Nutrition from an accredited program.
• Membership in the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics preferred.
• One year of clinical dietetics experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Counsel patients as per physician orders and diet instructions.
• Collaborate with physicians and other care disciplines in patient care.
• Evaluate referrals to determine appropriate nutrition intake methods.
• Document information in the patient’s medical record per standards.
• Implement nutrition care plans and assist with patient dietary needs.
• Conduct calorie counts and offer nutrition recommendations.
• Review and sign menus for nutritional adequacy.
