About the Job:

Sanford Health is seeking a Dietitian- Inpatient- Dialysis to join their team in Bismarck, North Dakota. This position will be located at the 7th and Thayer clinic, with some travel to the Jamestown and Fort Yates locations as needed.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in dietetics or food and nutrition through an Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) accredited program. Clinical nutrition experience through an approved coordinated undergraduate program or successful completion of post-graduate internship is required. The candidate must currently hold a Registered Dietitian (RD) license within the applicable state(s) and be registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).

The Dietitian- Inpatient- Dialysis will be responsible for providing medical nutrition therapy services and monitoring the nutritional care of patients of all adult ages. This includes determining nutritional status, developing individualized care plans, providing education and counseling, and evaluating the outcomes of medical nutrition therapy interventions. The candidate will also work on nutrition care protocols and act as a leader for the healthcare team in implementing nutrition therapies.
