Job summary

Compass Group is hiring a Clinical Dietitian for Morrison Healthcare at Kern Medical Hospital in Bakersfield, CA. This on-site role features M-F day availability up to ~20 hours per week with weekend requirements as needed, and requires registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.

Cross-coverage includes NICU/Pediatric and critical care trauma within a collaborative team. You will deliver Medical Nutrition Therapy in an acute care setting, educate patients and families, and

• Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice as applicable.
• Healthcare experience preferred—new graduates with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Clinical nutrition care: assess and develop care plans to promote recovery.
• Educate patients, families, staff on nutrition and lifestyle strategies.
• Apply evidence-based practice per diet manual and facility protocols.
• Contribute to QAPI initiatives to advance patient care.
• Collaborate with food service management to enhance patient satisfaction.
• Mentor staff and dietetic interns through education and training.

Job Summary

• Clinical Nutrition Care: Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans to promote recovery and improve health outcomes
