Job Details: Western State Hospital, an acute care adult psychiatric facility in Hopkinsville, KY, is seeking a Dietitian to join our team. This role focuses on providing nutritional care for individuals with mental health conditions, working closely with an interdisciplinary team to support patient well-being. Full-time, 30-40 hrs/wk, Monday-Friday, with a flexible work schedule. Onsite presence is required.

Job Summary: We are seeking a Clinical Dietitian (FT) to join our Nutrition Team at an acute care medical center in Hopkinsville, KY.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provides medical nutrition therapy including assessment, diet modification, education, and intervention for patients.
• Follows all guidelines outlined in the Company Diet Manual and Nutrition Policies & Procedures Manual.
• Complies with regulatory standards including federal, state, and accreditation agencies, maintaining confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Trains and mentors patient services staff and interns.
• Participates in patient satisfaction, departmental meetings, and quality improvement programs.

Qualifications:

• Registered Dietitian credentialed by the CDR.
• Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing/Credentialing Board where required.
• One year of hospital experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, electronic medical records, and nutrient analysis software.
