Job summary

Three Crosses Regional Hospital in New Mexico is seeking a Registered Dietitian to deliver patient-centered nutrition care. You will perform nutrition assessments, follow ups and participate in rounds with clinical teams.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in nutrition or a related field, and RDN credential with state licensure in New Mexico. You will educate staff on dietary needs and support quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition, dietetics, food and nutrition, health, or related field.
• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification by the CDR.
• State licensure/certification as required by the State of New Mexico.

Responsibilities

• Complete nutrition assessment and follow ups on patients with increased nutritional needs.
• Document patient information and nutrition goals in the medical record.
• Educate staff, Nursing, and Food Service on dietary needs and restrictions.
• Attend patient rounds on assigned departments.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Complete nutrition assessment and follow ups on patients with increased nutritional needs, in accordance with facility policies.
• Documents patient information, as well as assessment of nutritional goals and/or changes in the status in the medical record/database.
• Educates Staff, Nursing, Food Service employees on issues regarding special dietary needs. to learn about their health goals and dietary needs, preferences, and restrictions.
• Attends patient rounds on assigned departments.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition, dietetics, food and nutrition. health, or a related field.
• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
• Certification/Licensure as required by the State of New Mexico
