Job summary

Dietary Solutions seeks a compassionate Registered Dietitian or Dietetic Technician to join our Jackson, MI team in a part-time consulting role (approximately 10–12 hours weekly). You will collaborate with facility care teams to promote resident nutritional well-being while upholding regulatory standards and best practices.

The position offers autonomy, flexibility, and opportunities for professional growth within a supportive team focused on patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian (or eligible) and licensed/certified per state requirements OR completed ACEND DTP with associate's degree OR ACEND-accredited program with bachelor's degree; registration preferred.
• Strong communication with residents and facility staff; time management and documentation.
• Understanding of clinical nutrition, care planning, MDS K, and PDPM; comfortable with basic tech tools.

Responsibilities

• Promote nutritional well-being with facility care teams while upholding regulatory standards and clinical best practices.
• Provide resident-centered care with autonomy and flexibility in scheduling.
• Document and coordinate care plans per facility and regulatory requirements.

Who You Are

You're the right fit for our team if you:

• Are a Registered Dietitian (or eligible) and licensed/certified per state requirements OR completed an ACEND dietetic technician program and earned an associate's degree at a U.S. regionally accredited college or university OR completed an ACEND-accredited didactic program or coordinated program in dietetics and earned a bachelor's degree at a U.S. regionally accredited college or university; registration with Commission on Dietetic Registration preferred
• Build trust and rapport with residents and facility staff
• Communicate effectively and solve problems with confidence
• Have strong time management, documentation, and organizational skills
• Understand clinical nutrition, care planning, MDS Section K, and PDPM
• Feel comfortable using EMR systems and basic tech tools
