Job summary

Dietary Solutions is seeking a compassionate Registered Dietitian or Dietetic Technician to join our Scranton, PA team in a consulting capacity across full-time, part-time, PRN, or contract arrangements.

You will work with facility care teams to promote nutritional well‑being, adhere to regulatory standards, and implement evidence‑based nutrition care. Flexibility and resident‑centered care are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Must be a registered/licensed dietitian per state requirements or eligible; ACEND program pathway accepted.
• Strong clinical nutrition knowledge and care planning experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and facility staff.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with facility care teams to promote nutritional well‑being and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans.
• Document care plans and progress in EMR systems; monitor MDS Section K and PDPM.
• Provide education and guidance to staff and residents as needed.

Who You Are

You're the right fit for our team if you:

• Are a Registered Dietitian (or eligible) and licensed/certified per state requirements OR completed an ACEND dietetic technician program and earned an associate's degree at a U.S. regionally accredited college or university OR completed an ACEND-accredited didactic program or coordinated program in dietetics and earned a bachelor's degree at a U.S. regionally accredited college or university; registration with Commission on Dietetic Registration preferred
• Build trust and rapport with residents and facility staff
• Communicate effectively and solve problems with confidence
• Have strong time management, documentation, and organizational skills
• Understand clinical nutrition, care planning, MDS Section K, and PDPM
• Feel comfortable using EMR systems and basic tech tools
