Job summary

Providence Health Plan Group in Tukwila is seeking a Dietitian/Nutrition Care Specialist for a hybrid role. This position involves traveling to hospital, clinical settings, and homes as needed to deliver nutrition care.

You will coordinate nutrition care, support TPN in collaboration with pharmacists, and monitor enteral patients to reduce complications while ensuring patient safety. A strong foundation in clinical nutrition is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field.
• Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: Washington Dietitian Certification
• Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: Washington Nutritionist Certification
• Upon hire: National CDR Registered Dietitian - Commission on Dietetic Registration
• 1 year hospital and/or home care experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in management of nutritional resources and monitoring of enteral/parenteral nutrition.
• Collaborate with pharmacists in managing TPN patients and clinical monitoring of enteral patients.

Description

This is a hybrid position in the Tukwila site that will require traveling to see patients in hospital, clinical setting and/or homes as needed.

This position is responsible for developing, coordinating and directing all aspects of quality, cost effective, outcome-oriented clinical nutrition care under minimum supervision. Assists in the management of PIPS' nutritional resources. Responsible for decisions and judgments affecting patients total nutrition care. Facilitates improvement in patient's nutrition status to reduce complications and lower the risk of harm to the patient. Assists the pharmacists in managing the TPN patients. Clinical monitoring of enteral patients.

Required Qualifications:
