Job summary

Community Hospital Hospitality and Nutrition seeks a PRN Clinical Dietitian for the Munster location. Inpatient care with potential outpatient oncology coverage; 16 hours per pay period, bi-weekly.

Works under the clinical manager’s supervision to deliver nutrition care to patients and referred outpatients following established guidelines. Requires a Bachelor's in Food and Nutrition, with preference for Registered Dietitian; registry eligibility considered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food and Nutrition from an accredited program.
• Registered Dietitian preferred but registry-eligible considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional care to inpatients and referred outpatients according to guidelines under supervision.
• Cover inpatient and outpatient oncology as needed.

PRNCLINICAL DIETITIAN FOR MUNSTER LOCATION

Inpatient but can cover Outpatient Oncology

16-Hours per pay period (bi-weekly)

Provides nutritional care and support to in-patients and physician-referred outpatients according to established guidelines and under the immediate supervision of the clinical manager.

Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with a major in food and nutrition, in conjunction with Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education approved program. Advanced degree preferred. Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration preferred but will accept registry eligible*. Two years experience in dietetics and/or food service operations preferred. Certification with the State of Indiana or application for certification within one month of registration.
