Mercer University in Macon, GA is seeking a Dietitian for part-time work in the Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities division of the School of Medicine. The Dietitian will provide nutrition assessment, counseling, and care planning for adults with IDD within the Mercer IDD Care clinic.

Responsibilities include developing individualized nutrition interventions, educating patients and caregivers, and collaborating with the care team to ensure safe, evidence-based nutrition care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field required.
• 1 year of clinical nutritional dietetic experience preferred.
• Current RDN or RD credential through CDR required.
• Current Georgia Licensed Dietitian license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutrition assessment, counseling, education, care planning, and ongoing nutrition support for adults with IDD.
• Identify nutrition-related concerns and develop individualized interventions.
• Educate patients and caregivers and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
