Jobtailor is seeking an experienced college lecturer in Dietetics or Nutrition to teach and develop curricula at our partner college. The role emphasizes curriculum development, student assessment, and program evaluation within a diverse student population.

The candidate will maintain college standards, support strategic goals, and manage administrative procedures while coordinating schedules and tests. Strong communication and adaptability are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Dietetics or Nutrition (or Master’s with 18 graduate hours in Dietetics or Nutrition).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Professional or similar.
• Experience with Canvas LMS and instructional technologies.
• Ability to interact with diverse populations and fluctuating schedules.

Responsibilities

• Instruct college students according to educational theories and techniques.
• Develop discipline-related curricula.
• Assess student learning.
• Participate in program evaluation and college activities.
• Maintain college and department standards supporting the College’s mission and strategic plan.
• Develop, maintain, interpret, and execute administrative procedures and practices.
• Develop and maintain manuals concerning College policies, procedures, rules, and standards.
• Analyze class and program needs and recommend course retention or deletion.
• Develop and coordinate program and course schedules, faculty assignments, and test dates.
• Maintain and adjust scheduling calendars as needed.
• Assist students with program curriculum, program and course reviews, and articulation activities.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned
