Job description

Schedule

Daytime shifts M-F with a weekend rotation.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Clinical Dietitian in providing optimal nutritional care to patients.
  • Screen at-risk patients for nutritional risks and provide supportive clinical care and follow-up.
  • Calculate patients' nutrient and energy intake as ordered by a provider or requested by a dietitian.
  • Provide nutrition-related education to patients and caregivers on modified diets.
  • Monitor patient progress by assessing understanding and adherence to the plan, and communicate with the RD to modify the plan as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration as a Registered Dietetic Technician is preferred.
  • Associate’s degree from an ACEND-accredited program required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of related experience.
  • Analytical skills for problem-solving using scientific, mathematical, computer, or technical principles.
  • Proficiency in nutrient analysis programs.
  • ServSafe certification is preferred.
