Details: FTE: 0.01, Shift: Day, Schedule: 5-6 hour shifts, 7 days a week, including weekends and holidays

Position Summary

The Dietetic Technician collaborates with our Nutrition Services team to ensure patients, families, and visitors receive optimal nutritional healthcare experiences.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide nutritional care to patients and ensure care plans meet dietary goals.
  2. Deliver outstanding customer service supporting our organizational values to a diverse population.
  3. Conduct assessments, provide counseling, and respond effectively to changing patient needs.
  4. Apply a food-centric attitude and collaborate to deliver quality and exceptional customer experiences.
Requirements
  • Registered Dietetic Technician or eligible within 120 days of hire
  • OR Associates Degree in dietetics, food, and nutrition meeting ADA standards
  • OR Certified Dietary Manager certification or eligible within 120 days of hire
  • OR BA/BS in a related field with approval of transcripts by the Director/Clinical Nutrition Manager
  • Current Washington State Food Handler's Card
  • Preferred: Two years of experience in patient nutritional care
